Here at Dolled By Jens, I pride on making your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. I understand you might have a few questions before getting started, so I've put together some of the most common ones to help you out. My approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything I do reflects our commitment to making you look and feel amazing.
How much do you charge for a makeup booking?
It depends on the services you're after. If you look onto my ''services & pricing'' page, it will give you a clearer idea of what I offer. Mind you, I do charge less as this is my first professional business as an MUA artist and I want to see if more people will come to me and if it is worth keeping in the long run. However, I am thinking of putting the prices up if I still continue in the future.
Do lashes come with the makeup?
Lashes are included with some makeup styles. FOr looks that don't require them, lashes can be added for $10.
How long does the appointment take?
For natural looks- about 25 mins. Glam or creative look- 30 mins to 2+ hours depending on the complexity of the style chosen. Bridal look-1 hour 45 minutes or more, as it takes alot of preparation and attention.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, I do require a deposit to secure your appointment. This helps confirm your spot, as I often have other clients who are interested in the same time.
Do you travel to clients or is it at your studio?
Yes, I can travel for clients for an additional travel fee. However, coming to my location is recommended as I have my full setup available.
What brands of makeup do you use?
I work with a selection of high quality makeup for example korean beauty brands, chosen specifically for their performance on different skin types to ensure a flawless result.
Important information about bookings
Depending on my availability, it is best to message to proceed with your booking with a full confirmation from me. I could arrange and make time for you if I am available, since I do have another job that requires me to be there.
Cancellation for bookings
If a cancellation is made the day before your appointment, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made on the day of the appointment are non-refundable, as last minute changes result in lost time and income for me.
